Herbicides for Soybean Cultivation

1. METROSTAR (Metribuzin 70% WP)

METROSTAR is a selective systemic herbicide absorbed predominantly by the roots, but also by leaves, with translocation acropetally in the xylem. It is used for Pre/post-emergence control of most annual grasses and weeds including Cyperus, Cyndon, Chenopodium, Asphodelus, Avena, Lolium, Setaria, Phalaris and Alopecurus in cereals i.e. wheat, Sugarcane, alfalfa, Potato, Tomato, soybean, etc grown areas in Africa, Asia, Europe, South America. It is to be used in accordance with climatic conditions and approval of local Authorities.

2. PENDIPEN (Pendimethalin 30% EC)

• Pendipen belongs to Dinitroaniline group and controls both, narrow and broadleaf weeds.
• Pendipen is applied as a pre-emergence herbicide.
• Pendipen is a selective herbicide to be used before the emergence of weeds and crops.
• After application of pendipen, a thin layer is formed at soil surface which prevents the germination of weeds.
• There must be sufficient soil moisture at the time of application of pendipen.

3. PENDIPEN EXTRA (Pendimethalin 38.7% EC)

• PENDIPEN EXTRA is an effective herbicide which disrupts cell division at the time of weed seed germination.
• It acts as a selective pre-emergence and pre-plant incorporation herbicide absorbed through both the leaves and roots of target plants.
• It is based on advanced biotechnology due to which the chemical doesn’t evaporate at high temperature.
• Controls both annual grasses and broadleaf weeds.
• Doesn’t show any harmful effect on crops and soil.
• No residual effect due to which it doesn’t affect adversely on subsequent crops.

Insecticides for Soybean Cultivation

1. LAUNCHER (Profenophos 50% EC)

• Launcher is non-systemic broad-spectrum insecticide cum acaticide.
• It has strong contact, stomach, and ovicidal action.
• It has excellent control of neonate larvae.
• It has excellent translaminar penetrating action, percolates and kills insects on the lower surface.
• It has a quick knockdown effect and long residual activity.
• Launcher potent inhibitor of Acetyl Cholinesterase, thereby first paralyze and kill the pests.
• It is readily absorbed by plant thus not affected by rainfall.
• Launcher is also effective against borers and sucking pests of crops like Rice, Sugarcane Wheat, Pulses, Oilseeds, Potato, Chilli, Mango, Apple, other vegetable and flower crops.

2. SKYN TROPHY (Thismethoxam 30% FS)

• TROPHY is a systemic seed treatment insecticide.
• It protects against target pests by interfering with receptors that transmit the message to continue feeding.
• It acts on different sites of action in the insect.
• It provides control of a wide range of early-season sucking and chewing, leaf-feeding and soil-dwelling insect pests, such as aphids, wireworms, flea beetles, and leaf miners.
• It is used to treat the seeds of corn, cotton, sugar beets, oilseed rape, canola, wheat, barley, soybeans, sorghum, and other field crops.

3. SKYN CANON(Quinalphos 25% EC)

• SKYN CANON It is having a broad spectrum of activity and good initial and residual toxicity against bollworms on cotton and stem borer, leaf folder, green leafhopper, hispa on rice.
• SKYN CANON preferred choice for 2 major crops (Cotton & Paddy).
• SKYN CANON It is a contact and stomach poison. It is a non-systemic.

4. JUVANN (Dichlorovos 76% EC)

JUVANN is a broad-spectrum organophosphorus insecticide. It instantly kills the Sucking & Chewing insects such as Planthoppers, Semi-looper, Red pumpkin beetle, Painted bug, Leaf folder, Cutworm, Armyworm, and Caterpillars of Paddy, Wheat, Sugarcane, Soybean, Pulses, Cucurbits, and Cashew nut. Due to a small waiting period, it can be sprayed on vegetable crops just two days ahead of picking/ plucking the vegetable.

5. NUVANT (Indoxacarb 15.8% EC)

• NUVANT is a modern insecticide of the oxadiazine group, which effectively controls caterpillars by its contact and stomach poison action.
• It tops the movement of Na ions in the nerve / sensory cells within 2 – 4 hours of its application, which results in paralysis and death of insects.
• NUVANT by its translaminar action reaches to the lower side of the leaves and controls the hiding caterpillars also.
• It controls all stages of caterpillars simultaneously.
• The effectiveness of NUVANT is not affected by low or high-temperature conditions.
• NUVANT is completely safe for natural enemies of caterpillars and is suitable for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system.

Fungicides for Soybean Cultivation

1. PROPSTAR (Propiconazole 25% EC)

• PROPSTAR is a systemic foliar fungicide which belongs to the triazole group.
• It is a fungicide with protection & curation action with translocation acropetally in the xylem.
• It has broad-spectrum activity against a wide range of fungal diseases caused by dasidiomycetes, ascomycetes & Deuteromycetes fungi.
• It is of low mammalian toxicity and does not affect shoneybees, beneficial insects or wildlife.

2. SKYN CONNECT PLUS (Hexaconazole 5% EC)

• SKYN CONNECT + belongs to triazole group.
