Cotton is the most important fiber crop not only of India but of the entire world. It provides the basic raw material cotton fiber to the cotton textile industry. Barnyard grass is an alternate host for several diseases in Cotton Crops which can also reduce dry bean yields at densities as low as two plants per six feet of row.
